What This Site Is For
South East Non GamStop Betting covers bookmakers that operate outside the UK GamStop scheme, written for punters in London and the South East. We are not a bookmaker, we do not take bets, and we hold no gambling licence of any kind.
The reason the site exists is that this corner of the market is badly served. It is sold with exclamation marks and enormous percentages, and almost nobody publishes the things that decide whether a punter comes out ahead: the margin in the prices, whether a book prices up ordinary British racing, and what a welcome offer costs in turnover to clear.
How We Test
Real accounts, real deposits, real withdrawal requests. Prices captured against a benchmark at the same moment. Racing coverage checked on a midweek card rather than at a festival. Bonus arithmetic worked out in pounds. The full weighting is on the how we rate page.
How We Make Money
Some links to bookmakers are commercial and may pay us a commission if a reader opens an account. That costs the reader nothing and buys the operator nothing. Position and score come from the testing, and payment cannot change either.
Where We Stand on the Licensing Question
Every operator we cover is licensed outside the United Kingdom, most often in Curacao, Anjouan or Malta. None is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. That means the affordability checks, deposit protections and complaints routes a British customer expects do not apply. We say so on every relevant page, because a reader deserves to make that trade knowingly.
We also take the view that GamStop exists for a reason. Where a reader is registered because they needed to be, we point at BetBlocker, Gamban and GamCare rather than around them. See responsible gambling.
