About the Museum
In addition to the beauty of the gardens there are other attractions including the collection of Victorian Motor Cars which are kept in perfect working order and take part in the annual London to Brighton run; an award winning Bonsai exhibition and the 'Behind the Dolls House' exhibition depicting a country estate of some 100 years ago, at 1/12th scale. There is also the Clock Tower Restaurant, a gift shop shop and plant sales. Leonardslee Gardens and Victorian Motor Museum makes an excellent day out at anytime but is often described as the most beautiful woodland garden in Europe during the month of May. The charm of the garden is that it is informal but has evolved over 200 years into a beautiful landscape.
